What Are the Biggest Threats to Tigers?

The main goal of celebrating International Tiger Day is to raise awareness about tiger conservation issues. If people are aware of something only then they will do something to help. There are several issues that tigers face which is becoming a major reason for their disappearance. Some of the issues due to which they are disappearing include illegal hunting, human interference in their lives, and habitat loss.

Hunting is one of the biggest issues that tigers face. Due to the high demand for their skin, bone, and other body parts, used in medication and home decor, tigers are tragically targeted.

Despite hunting, there are many other threats tigers face. Habitat loss is one of them. Forests are being cleared for agriculture and development, destroying tiger homes and making it harder for them to find food and mates. Their habitats have reduced a lot in recent years.
